Join me in supporting First Aid Arts' work with refugees in 2017
This summer the girls, Grace and I visited the largest refugee camp in Austria. We were hosted by Oasis, a partner organization of First Aid Arts, who uses our Healing Arts Toolkit Program with residents there. The huge compound is a converted Nazi barracks that currently houses about two thousand men, women and children fleeing violence and abuse.
By donating towards my fundraising campaign you can join me in supporting First Aid Arts' work with refugees in 2017. You can helps us serve families like the ones we met in Austria. First Aid Arts brings researched-based, proven tools for hope and healing. The color and joy of the arts offer a beautiful lifeline to victims of trauma who, because of painful experiences, have shut themselves off from their feelings and from others. The arts can cross cultural and language barriers, offering opportunities for self-expression, connection, and joy where it is deeply needed.
We are blessed. Please give generously and joyfully, knowing you are helping individuals and families, children and adults, who have walked through violence and tragedy and need our support to find deep restoration and hope.
